Question 1: Is it safe to buy or renew my insurance at SUBPLACE? 

Yes, it is safe and secure. SUBPLACE.com websites and its services are owned and operated by Abletech Solutions Sdn Bhd (201901022986 (1332315-V)), a registered license agent of Allianz General Insurance Company (Malaysia) Berhad.

SUBPLACE Subscription Protection

Question 1: What is Subplace Subscription Protection?

Subplace Subscription Protection is a complimentary Personal Accident protection plan offered by your merchants when you buy their items and subscribe to Subplace’s installment plan. 

Question 2: What are the covers/benefits provided?

This product covers the outstanding amount of the purchased item in the event of death and permanent disablement of the subscriber. For more information, please refer to the links below:

Question 3: How do I qualify for the Subplace Subscription Protection?

Subplace Subscription Protection is automatically included as a complimentary protection plan when you subscribe to Subplace’s installment plan.

Question 4: Can I request to include the Subplace Subscription Protection if my installment plan is already running?

The protection plan is automatically included in your Subplace installment plan as a complimentary protection plan by your merchants. It is not available for separate request or purchase. 

Question 5: Who is eligible for the Subplace Subscription Protection?

  1. You must be a Malaysian/Malaysian permanent resident/work permit holder/pass holder/legally employed in Malaysia/legally residing in Malaysia; and
  2. You must be aged 18 – 70 years old; and
  3. Is a subscriber throughout the Period of Insurance 

Question 6: When will the insurance coverage starts?

The Period of Insurance starts from the next billing cycle after the initial installment payment and continues until the completion of all installments

Question 7: If I purchase 2 items, does this mean I will be covered by the Subplace Subscription Protection?

Yes, both items will be covered if you choose Subplace’s installment plan. However, the 3rd item will not be covered. 

Question 8: What if I settled the payment early? Will the insurance continue to be in effect?

The period of cover will terminate upon the full settlement of your installments 

Question 9: Where can I check my policy coverage confirmation?

After a successful purchase of an item, you will receive a confirmation of your policy coverage via email. If you do not receive this, kindly notify us on Subplace app or website via:

Question 10: How do I file a claim?

You may notify Subplace in the event of a claim

Question 11: What will happen should I miss an installment plan?

Subplace will trigger a claim if they discovered failed payment 

Question 12: Can I cancel this policy?

Yes, however the cancellation will take effect after the current Period of Insurance ends
